(Oh yes- we know – We have Canadian hackers constantly trying to rip off the bulkbeefjerky.com website) It looks like criminals just love beef jerky as much as the rest of us.

New Albany man arrested for Circle K theft
A New Albany man was arrested Tuesday morning after police found him with beef jerky and air fresheners hidden in his coat.
James R. Hack Jr., 31, is preliminarily charged with class D felony theft and misdemeanor public intoxication.
Indiana State Police Trooper Michael Davis responded to a shoplifting report at 5:26 a.m. Monday at the Circle K at Beechwood Avenue and Grant Line Road in New Albany.
Davis found the stolen merchandise from the store concealed in Hack’s coat, according to an ISP news release. Hack was reportedly intoxicated at the time.
The value of the stolen merchandise was $37.61.
Hack has a criminal history in Clark and Floyd counties that includes battery, criminal confinement and burglary convictions, and pending criminal recklessness and invasion of privacy charges.
He was convicted of vicarious sexual gratification in 2000 in Floyd County and was arrested early last month for failing to register as a sex offender.
